Klingspor developed the wide belt PS 729 F specifically for sanding metal at medium contact pressure. It is suitable for the dry sanding of stainless steel and steel. Its most outstanding features include

which can be achieved with this long-life abrasive belt. The PS 729 F is primarily used for intermediate and fine sanding of metal, especially stainless steel and steel, and is also available in fine grit sizes.

The backing of the PS 729 F wide belt is made of category F paper. These papers are categorised according to their grammage from A to G. Paper backings marked with an A are particularly light, while those marked with a G are very heavy. The backing of the abrasive belt PS 729 F is therefore correspondingly robust with paper thickness F. It is sprinkled with high-quality abrasive grain, which is bonded to form grain agglomerates, so that a consistent surface quality is guaranteed even after a long service life.
