Flat head sealed blind rivet, steel-steel
Flat head sealed blind rivets, steel-steel are used when we want to achieve the tightness of the joined material against fluids. The tightness of such a connection largely depends on the accuracy of the hole dimension and the finishing of the joined surface. In some cases, it is recommended to use an additional gasket to increase the tightness of the connection (applicable only to rivets with a standard flange).
Sealed break-off rivets are designed for connections requiring waterproofing (they do not allow the passage of water and air).
-
They provide greater strength of the connection (resistance to shear and tensile forces).
-
Resistance to vibrations (the tip of the pin remains in the riveting part).
-
Resistance to high pressure (up to 35 bar).
-
Sealed rivets have higher resistance to shear and tensile forces, protect against vibrations, and are 100% impermeable to water and air, provided that the appropriate hole dimensions are maintained.
