QMC 409 – universal Quick Change Disc mini discs for grinding stainless steel and other metals
Quick Change Disc mini discs are small abrasive discs for use in high-speed grinders. They have metal catches that ensure high work safety even at high speeds of up to 20,000 or 30,000 rpm. Another advantage of Quick Change Disc mini discs with metal catches is the possibility of quick replacement with one hand movement. Thanks to this, abrasive discs can be quickly replaced practically without interrupting work. This shortens the changeover times and increases work efficiency. The basis of the construction of these mini discs is a plastic cloth. On it is a high-quality grain made of zirconium electrocorundum in the form of a full fill. The bond is made of synthetic resin. On the back side there is a metal catch for mounting on the support disc. Thanks to this construction of mini discs and the additional Multi layer, it is possible to reduce the grinding temperature. This is particularly beneficial when grinding stainless steel and at the same time ensures a high grinding performance. Simply place the mini disc on the backing disc and screw the mini disc on using the internal threaded pin on the back.
