PS 73 BWK – self-adhesive paper backing (B paper) with a semi-open electro-corundum coating
The PS 73 BWK abrasive discs offered by Klingspor are self-adhesive and therefore ideal for use on hand-held grinders with a self-adhesive coating. The backing of these discs is made of category B paper, which is relatively light but nevertheless robust. The abrasive grain is made of electro-corundum applied in a semi-open coating. This leaves enough empty spaces between the grains, which allows for good abrasive discharge and prevents clogging of the abrasive disc. Electro-corundum is hard and durable. It ensures a high stock removal rate and therefore a good grinding result. Like all abrasives used by Klingspor, it is manufactured using the synthetic method. As a result, it always has the same quality.

In addition, Klingspor abrasives always have a top bond made of synthetic resin. This has high adhesion and ensures that the grains are firmly embedded in the backing bond, protecting the grains from lateral forces.
