The fischer VBS 8 repair wall anchor is a system for repairing external wall layers with or without a cavity. The main components of the system are the fischer FIS V injection mortar, a plastic anchor sleeve and a stainless steel connector. The VBS 8 anchor is set in the joint of the external wall using the pre-installation method. The sleeve and connector are inserted through the hole without exerting a spreading force. Immediately after the mortar is injected, a 4 mm diameter connector is inserted into the hole, which joins the curtain wall to the load-bearing wall.
