What we test — the essentials for fasteners & metal parts

Our accredited scope covers three pillars of metallurgical assurance: ICP-OES chemical analysis of steels (C, Cr, Mn, Mo, Ni, P, S), Vickers hardness testing (HV 0.3 / HV 5 / HV 10) and ED-XRF coating thickness for zinc on steel with validated measurement capability in the practical range for corrosion protection. These methods let you verify alloy grade, heat treatment and coating integrity before product launch or shipment — not after a claim.

Beyond the certificate — tests that answer real questions

Outside the accredited scope, we routinely perform neutral salt spray (PN-EN ISO 9227) to benchmark coating durability, tensile tests on a universal testing machine for high-strength components, and Rockwell hardness for quick production checks. For installation performance, our drill-time test for self-drilling screws replicates real-world mounting per ISO 10666 — a practical way to compare products and set acceptance criteria with customers.

Our OES spectrometer (Hitachi FOUNDRY-MASTER Smart) delivers rapid alloy ID with a large, built-in grade database; paired with Vickers and Rockwell platforms, ED-XRF, a high-capacity universal testing machine, salt-spray chamber, and VICI VISION optical metrology, we capture chemistry, mechanics and dimensions in one workflow. The result: fewer loops between lab and shop floor — and clearer calls on go/no-go.
